Production Center - Italy
 

Italy's production center is Customer Centric; while many foreign furniture distributors' model is based on pushing a product through their sales channel, Alea tries to diagnose and understand the customer's needs; then all the parts in its business process are adjusted to fit current business demands.



 
 
Customized Production Alea deploys a Quality Program that provides us with a platform to seamlessly integrate designers and suppliers to our plant so that timely delivery and impeccable design can go hand in hand. The Alea plant has forged relationships with over 40 Italian furniture component suppliers, giving us the necessary flexibility to move large volumes of orders through our plant in a scalable cost-effective manner.  The Quality Program strives to eliminate the problem of defective parts while ensuring on-time delivery. This further reduces costs associated with processing, packaging and shipping.
 

Efficient Distribution/Shipping Process
 
Our lead time is 8-10 weeks on the east coast and 10-12 on the west coast. The production process itself takes 3 weeks. Alea assumes full responsibility for the product from the time it is ordered until it is delivered at the office site, providing a risk-free approach to clients. Alea relies on a well integrated freight network for the shipment of orders from Italy to North America. We provide free back-up inventory of replacement parts shipped overnight from our US Distribution Center to any location in the Americas. Distribution facilities include the Alea USA Distribution Center in Miami, Florida and a reliable network of dealers across the United States.
 
  
Agile Sales Channel and Superior Customer Service
 
The continuous success of our company is generated by the quality of the product itself (contemporary look, great design, good quality, easy to assemble) but also to the good customer service Alea Usa has been able to provide before and after the sale.
Our sales force eliminates the traditional hurdles to buying foreign furniture. We count on a national network of sales representatives available for on-site assistance. Our own staff at Alea USA bridges the gap between the two continents. We have a multi-lingual in-house design group that creates furniture specifications based on the client needs, and then submits the orders directly to the plant. Our turn around with estimates and drawings is of 48 hours. Orders are entered immediately and clients are well informed on order status and shipment tracking information.
